Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)
Citizens of the following countries must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization instead of a visitor visa to travel in Canada:
Germany, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil*, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria*, Chile, Cyprus, Republic of Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Arab Emirates, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Solomon Islands, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Lettonia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Norway, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania*, United Kingdom, San Marino, Samoa, Singapour, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, and some British territories.
Since 2017, citizens of Brazil, Bulgaria, and Romania who have obtained a visitor visa within the last 10 years or currently detain a valid visa for the United States can travel to Canada with an ETA.

Visitor Visa
Citizens of all other countries (than the ones listed above) must obtain a visitor visa to enter Canada. They must also demonstrate that they have a good reason to enter the country, and financial means to provide for their needs during their stay, and above all, intend to leave Canada at the end of their travel.

Super Visa (Parents and Grandparents)
A Super Visa allows parents and grandparents of permanent residents and Canadian citizens to stay in Canada for five (5) years at a time, unlike the visitor visa enabling your to stay for six (6). Parents or grandparents must obtain valid medical insurance for at least a (1) year. Kids or grandchildren who invite them to Canada must prove that their annual incomes allow them to provide for the family’s needs according to the IRCC tariff.
Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) and Criminality
People with criminal records may be unauthorized to enter Canada. People who do not meet the law requirements to enter Canada can obtain a temporary resident permit to enter Canada only if the circumstances are justifiable.
